Do we each need our own attorney?

The mediator does not represent either of you or give either of you individual legal advice. Each of you may consult your own attorney, and you should understand the legal and financial effect of the agreement before you sign. An attorney for the legal work is already included in our flat fee.

Before you sign

The last step of our process is legal review and filing. The reminder at the foot of every page of this site applies:

“Each party has been encouraged to be fully advised by their respective counsel regarding the legal, financial, and practical effect of any agreement entered into.”
